Today I was visiting Yvonne. Yvonne has a fantastic garden and it is beautiful too because the esthetics means a lot for her (I think I’m just more of a practical person). Yvonne has many years of garden knowledge and I absorb everything I can whenever I’m at her place – even if I’m there for just a short time.
Yvonne had planted to peppermint cuttings last year and now it filled her whole bed. I got two cuttings to put in my garden.
Jeg gleder meg til å tørke blader for te.As you can see in this photo so is peppermint cuttings a long root growing vertical in the soil with many plant on. This is just one cutting. I’m looking forward to dry the leaves for tea.
I also got some rhubarb from Yvonne – I’m, going to make a delicious rhubarb pie. The rest of the rhubarb I cut in small pieces sprinkled some pure cane sugar between layers and put it in the freezer.
Vakkert hva?In the middle of the Rhubarb was a Rhubarb flower like this. Or it was Yvonne who made me see it was beautiful. She picked the rhubarb flower so the rhubarb don’t get much fibers, but she also finds it decorative. She put as a single flower inside in a long slim vase. Isn’t that beautiful?
